Flying from YUL to LAX - 9:15 to 12:20

9:15 - Planned takeoff from Trudeau airport direct flight to LAX

12:20 Arrival - Off to Hertz to rent a car and drive to Temecula (about 94 miles) Here are is the route.

Plane ride was fine and only a bit late. Hertz rental went smoothly. Our full size car is a Hyundai Azera. It's actually a nice car but not really full size. The clubs and the suitcases fit in the trunk so that's good enough.

We have arrived at the hotel almost 3 hours (normally a 1 1/2 hour drive). The traffic was horrendous for part of the way.

Just back from supper at Applebee's and a tour of the casino. We quit at $90 up on a game called Money to Burn. Speaking of money, we bought a case of 36 Budweiser for $19.99 (23.10 with tax and deposit). That beats the $5 beer in the mini bar. In our automated minibar, if you touch something you get automatically charged.

Also went to see Redhawk golf course so we would not get lost tomorrow morning. The only real green area on the course is on the greens. It looks in great shape but the fairways are yellow.

Didn't take many picture today, but tomorrow will be different.
