The drive from La Quinta to Riviera Golf Club (151 miles).

Today was a great day. The drive from La Quinta to Riviera was about 2 hours (mostly at 80mph). The weather was perfect. Maybe even a little warm (88 degrees). We followed Scott and Peter Lonard for the last 10 holes. Then Scott got us into the caddie lunch trailer where we ate and listened to some funny stories from Peter and Sunny. It was good meet Sunny, Scott wife and walk this great golf course. A big thanks to Scott for getting this together for us. After 7 days of hacking around golf courses ourselves, we finally got to see how the game is really supposed to be played.

We left the course around 2:30 to avoid the rush and drove down the Pacific coast. Venice Beach was really busy and crazy as usual. We checked in to the Marriott at 5pm and went to supper with Kenton. Since our plane leaves at 8 we have to get up early Sunday morning. I am not looking forward to getting back to the weather in the North but all good things must come to an end.....
