Mr. 'Eddy' St-Laurent was the principal at St-Jude when many of us were there in the mid 60's. 2MOPAUL.COM would not exists were it not for Mr. St-Laurent. He was directly involved in the fact that my father decided to move to Two-Mountains from Jonquiere in 1964. He is responsible for getting my father a position at the school board and my eldest brother, Georges, a teaching job. He also sold us the land for the house we built on Grand-Moulin. When we arrived here in 1964, I was sent to St-Jude with a very limited knowledge of the English language as I was in French school in Jonquiere. Without Mr. St-Laurent, my life and my family's lives would be certainly be completely different and I certainly wouldn't be typing this right now nor would I have attended Marianopolis College where I met my wonderful wife. Thank you Eddy! By the way, I just learned today when talking to my brother, what an integral part of Mr. St-Laurent played in our lives.
