Richard (Rick) Harding

April 24, 1948 -January 24, 2013

Published in the Montreal Gazette: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a very special man. After a brief but brave battle with cancer, Richard went peacefully surrounded by love on Thursday, January 24th,2013.His passing has left a void in our hearts and he will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Predeceased by his parents Florence and Charles, he is survived by his brother Bruce. Richard leaves to mourn his best friend Lorna, devoted and loving daughters Colleen and Andrea, proud son-in-law Anderson, and his two shining lights who loved their Papa, beloved grandchildren Mateo and Madalyn. Richard leaves many to grieve including Imelda, Valerie & Don, special cousins Maggie & Kevin, nieces, nephews and so many friends from near and far. A man of few words, Richard left an impression on those whose paths he crossed. He will be remembered for his love of family, work, country music, Sunday football and the Habs. A memorial service with a reception afterwards will be held at the Collins Clarke Funeral Home located at 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe-Claire, QC on Sunday, February 3rd at 11:00 a.m. Your expressions of sympathy may be shown with a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
