Let the games begin...The tekillya has started flowing.
The practice night has ended with only one casualty. See picture. I feel sorry for the few people who did not have the foresight to take Friday as a vacation day, but as Frankie says 'That's life'. If you want more stories about Thursday, feel free to ask dumb-dumb tonight...

Other than the point 08 and walking, this was the safest mode of transportation for the evening. This vehicle was actually rescued from the garbage at around 2:32 am and now resides on Lakebreeze waiting for it's rescue.TGIF that they pick up the garbage.

Two down and two to go...
In the words of the Fifth Dimension: Last night, I didn't get to sleep at all,,,almost. The first night of 'official' activities went off without a hitch, except for the blown amplifier at the Legion. Highlight of the walking tour: The Young/Snell 'pit' stop. Thank Nancy and Don. Picture below;

An outstanding success!!!
The main event was a major success as an estimated 300 frolickers crowded the Pit between major downpours. The music never stopped as well as the dancing. Thank's to the Tartan Pub Owners and staff for an outstanding job. As well DJ Earl Flint managing to to keep everyone dancing till 3:00am despite a barrage of unusual requests from a bunch of unusual people. Pictures will be coming in soon.
Thanks also to Snell Clan for hosting the Wanna Bee's party until tide people over until the doors opened to everyone at 9:00.

They took a lickin' but they're still kickin'
Somehow, some way, a crew of volunteers, after only a very few hours of sleep, arrived at the Senior's Men's Club to prepare a hearty breakfast for the hundred odd people who managed to get up after the party. These volunteers prepared a fantastic breakfast and cleaned up the mess we left. Hats off to all the volunteers!!!
A video montage of old pictures taken Jim Flint was a welcomed center piece. Thanks Jim (and Don) for setting it up.

Canada Day Celebrations
After the breakfast, some people winded their way to the LTMHS grounds for the Canada Day Festivities which were capped off by a very cold and windy fireworks display going up as the temperature was going down into single digits.
Mrs. Cockings' LTM yearbook booth was grand success as people dropped in all day to gaze at old yearbooks looking for their former selves and classmates.
Some revelers even managed to drop back into headquarters (Tartan Pub) after the fireworks.

Pockets O'fun still going on.
As people are slowly heading from whence they came there are still a handful of animals remaining in Two Mountains (and nearby) who haven't quite had enough. A day off is always a good excuse to get together. So party on will you still can and have a safe trip home.
