Round five - La Quinta Mountain Course, La Quinta, CA
Scorecards 

10:07 - This course was within wlaking distance but we didn't know so we took the car. In the lessons learned column. Don't buy beer off the golf cart. $5.75 a beer. We brought our own but we ran out. We paid $19.99 for 36. At La Quinta price, that's $207 before tip. Tomorrow, we load the bags. Today we also found out that near the bottom of the mountain, the wind can go from none to 25 mph in about 10 seconds. For the front nine, the wind was almost always against us. The greens were slick. I will post the lousy scores later.
Other lesson learned: I can't play golf in this beautiful scenery. I having a hard time concentrating on the golf swing yet it doesn't matter. More update later.........

We couldn't stay away from the Casino, Fantasy Springs. Below is what was drawing us there: We decided that since we came out even at Pechanga, we could risk $100 each here. Somehow we came out $120 ahead. We were there for an hour at the most and we left as winners.
